Eyebrow shapes

Eyebrows are a very important part of the face and eyebrows contribute a great deal in framing it. With the help of eyebrows anyone can draw attention towards the eyes. Though now a day’s both men and women have become aware of the importance of the eye brows and get them trimmed regularly, it is not necessity for men, unlike women. It is a common trend of women to get their eyebrows trimmed as per their face. Everyone has a different face shape and the shape of the eye brow also depends on the same. Thus, a person should know that which shape will be best suited for them.

Arched Arched eyebrows are deemed ideal for those who have extremely thick eye brows, riding low along the eye brow ridge. The arched eye brows broaden up the appearance of your eyes and make them appear more alert, wide and bright. The arched shape is a combination of the angled and curved shapes. It is typified by an upward angle and starting from the inner corner of the eye following up to a 2/3 distance. It culminates with curve downward on the outside.

Angled Angled brows are the most striking of all the brow shapes, owing to the very sharp angle they have. Angled brows begin upward from the inner corner of the eyes and then slide down with steep angle, towards the outer edge. This eyebrow shape is great for those who have a round or wide face. This provides a vertical line to your face, making it appear slimmer. It’s ideal for close-set eyes as they help in drawing focus to the outside.

Curved Curved brows are usually round in shape. The curve of the eyebrows follows the line of the eyelids. These types of eyebrows are ideal for those who have sharp features. The addition of curved brows provides mellower look to their features and adding softness to the overall look.

Flat as the name might seem intriguing; there is a shape of eyebrows which is referred as flat eyebrows. Flat eyebrows are suitable for those who have very narrow face. This makes their face look broader and deviates attention from the wide gap between eyes.

Perfect Shape of Your eye brows The shape of your eyebrow always should follow the natural line of brow bone.
Arch should be the highest at the outer corner of the pupil.
To determination of where the brow should begin, place a pencil straight up from the side of nostril.

To determination of where it should end, hold the pencil diagonally against outer corner of the eye pointing up to brow bone.

Brows should extend slightly beyond the eye at which point it should taper slight down.

You can always use a brow pencil in a shade closer to your skin to soften your eyebrows.

Eyebrow shades Eyebrow color can either dominate your face and also can disappear entirely. So, always careful when you are using eyebrow shades. Here are some shades for your help.

1) Olive complexion women can use brown brow shades

2) Dark complexion women can use gray shades

3) Very fair complexion women can use blonde shades
